Job summary

Spencer Recruitment is partnering with a leading strategic communications consultancy to appoint a Senior Account Executive in Dublin. This hybrid role offers exposure to a high-quality portfolio across corporate, consumer and public affairs clients.

You will support development and delivery of integrated campaigns, work closely with senior advisers, and build relationships with clients and media contacts while contributing to proposals and reports.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in communications, PR, public affairs, journalism or a related area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A good understanding of the Irish media and political landscape.
• Experience producing clear and engaging content for different audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of communications strategies and client campaigns

• Drafting press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, social media content and other communications materials
• Developing relationships with journalists, producers and other media contacts

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious communications professional to join a growing team and work across a high-quality portfolio of corporate, consumer and public affairs clients.

You will support the development and delivery of integrated communications campaigns while working closely with experienced senior advisers. The position offers excellent exposure to major organisations, senior decision-makers and high-profile assignments.

THE ROLE

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of communications strategies and client campaigns
• Building strong day-to-day relationships with clients

THE PERSON

The successful candidate is likely to have:

• Approximately two to four years’ experience in communications, PR, public affairs, journalism or a related area
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A good understanding of the Irish media and political landscape
• Experience producing clear and engaging content for different audiences
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confidence engaging with clients, journalists and external stakeholders
• A genuine interest in current affairs, business, politics and communications
• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Previous consultancy or agency experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
