Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering designs for semiconductor manufacturing, data centre facilities and other state-of-the-art manufacturing sites.

You will develop Mechanical/HVAC packages in Revit and AutoCAD under a Senior Engineer, coordinate with electrical, structural and process teams, and ensure CAD/BIM standards throughout proposal, design development and construction.

Qualifications

• 3 years project experience in engineering, ideally design related.
• Mech/HVAC designer with 5+ years experience.
• Minimum qualification of diploma in building services/mechanical engineering or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Mech/HVAC design standards (UK/EU) and BIM environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and design tasks to produce construction documents with a team of engineers/designers.
• Under Senior Engineer, design Mechanical/HVAC packages in Revit & AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, architectural and process disciplines to develop designs.
• Follow CAD/BIM standards and quality checks.
• Provide technical support to Engineers.
• Demonstrate strong communication in a fast-paced team with multiple deadlines.
