Job summary

MSR-FSR in Ireland is recruiting Grade 1 Maintenance Technicians to support semiconductor operations. The role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of vacuum pumps and gas abatement systems, performed within a rotating 12-hour continental shift.

• QQI Level 6 qualification in a technical discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Maintenance Engineering) is required.
• 1–2 years' relevant maintenance/technical service experience.
• Ability to follow technical procedures, drawings and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on vacuum pumps and related equipment.
• Assist with corrective maintenance and component replacements.
• Carry out routine inspections and identify wear or potential failure.
• Support fault diagnosis and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Record maintenance activities and equipment status accurately.
