Job summary

Sodexo in Dublin 7 is hiring a Security Team Leader to protect customers, assets and staff. This full‑time role involves leading the security team, overseeing access control, patrolling the site and responding to incidents. You’ll maintain reports and liaise with site management, visitors and contractors.

We’re seeking a candidate with PSA 02C guarding licence, First Aid qualification and previous security supervisory experience. A commitment to safety and clear communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSA 02C guarding licence.
• First Aid qualification required.
• Previous security experience in commercial, industrial, or university environments.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the security team to complete daily duties.
• Oversee access control and ensure only authorised people enter the site.
• Carry out and coordinate security patrols and report risks.
• Respond to incidents professionally and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain incident reports, handover notes and security records.
• Communicate clearly with site management, visitors and contractors.
• Support team briefings and reinforce site security and safety procedures.

• Week 1: Monday-Friday (7:00am - 2:00pm) Saturday (8am-6pm)
• Week 2: Monday to Friday (1.30pm-10.30pm)
• €17.50 per hour

What you'll do:

• Lead and support the security team, ensuring daily duties are completed to a high standard.

  Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally, following site procedures and escalating concerns appropriately.

  Support team briefings and reinforce site security, health and safety procedures.

What you'll bring:

• A valid PSA 02C guarding licence for manned guarding.
• A current First Aid qualification.
  Previous security experience within a commercial, industrial or University environment.
  Experience supervising or leading a team.
  Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
