Job summary

Sodexo Ltd in Dublin 7 is hiring a Security Team Leader to help protect customers and premises. This full-time role operates on shift patterns including early and evening weeks, with a competitive hourly rate of €17.50.

You will lead and support the security team, oversee access control, coordinate patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining accurate reports. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• PSA 02C guarding licence required.
• Previous security experience in a commercial, industrial or university environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the security team, ensuring daily duties are completed to a high standard.
• Oversee access control, helping ensure only authorised people the site.
• Carry out and coordinate security patrols, identifying and reporting potential risks.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally, following site procedures and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate incident reports, handover notes and security records.
• Communicate clearly with the site management team, colleagues, visitors and contractors.
• Support team briefings and reinforce site security, health and safety procedures.

What you'll do:
