Job summary

European Tech Recruit is partnering with a Cork-based semicon company to hire a Security Software Engineer. You will work across the device software stack, from user to kernel space, across diverse environments and hardware, emphasizing secure software design.

The role involves debugging on hardware and software platforms, applying secure coding practices, and leveraging ARM/RISC-V architectures and TrustZone to deliver trusted solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong C programming skills with secure coding practices.
• Experience with embedded hardware and driver concepts.
• Knowledge of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks and memory management.
• Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and debuggers.
• Working knowledge of cryptography and secure protocols.
• Experience with MSM/AMSS development.
• ARM and RISC-V architecture experience.
• Experience with on-chip simulators/emulators.
• Experience with ARM TrustZone architecture.

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading semicon company, based in Cork, who are looking for a talented Security Software Engineer to join their team.

In this role you will work on all software layers of the device architecture, including user and kernel space in different operating environments. This position will involve debugging in different software environments and on hardware.

Requirements:

• Strong C programming skills, with an emphasis on secure programming best practices.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware & driver concepts.
• Strong understanding of software and computer architecture concepts.
• Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management, etc.
• Experience with JTAG-enabled devices and software debugger, with excellent debugging skills.
• Working knowledge of cryptography and secure protocols.
• Our MSM and AMSS development experience.
• ARM architecture and software development experience.
• RISC-V architecture and software development experience.
• Experience with on-chip simulators/emulators.
• Experience with ARM Trustzone architecture.
