Job summary

Securitas Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to join a dynamic team protecting clients, premises and people at Buzzardstown, Dublin 15. The role offers fully flexible hours with a minimum 36 hours per week, including nights and weekends. Expect a competitive hourly rate with night allowance and Sunday premium.

As a security professional, you will monitor access, patrol, respond to alarms and maintain detailed logs while delivering excellent customer service in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• PSA Licence required.
• Fluent English essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and provide professional service.
• Flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to client premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are admitted.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections to deter and detect suspicious activity.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies, acting decisively and calmly.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
• Write clear, accurate incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Operate security systems and surveillance equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and protocols.
