Job Description:

Our Search Operations team supports efforts to address objectionable or disturbing content, including images of violence, animal cruelty, hate speech, violent extremism, or content that exploits or endangers children. The team analyzes user searches and optimizes search strategy to ensure a positive and safe user experience. Content includes images, videos, and texts related to everyday life, but may also involve bullying, hate speech, child safety, depictions of harm, and harm to animals.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct quality inspections of data sets and projects, ensuring compliance with requirements and timely delivery of QA cases.
• Exercise judgment in resolving ambiguous cases, provide feedback, identify risks, and suggest improvements.
• Prioritize content quality, safety, and integrity; monitor progress; contribute to product and process improvements.
• Collaborate on policy and SOP development, support training, and clarify processes for accurate data handling.
• Facilitate calibration meetings, analyze cases, and suggest improvements to enhance team performance and accuracy.
• Provide data analysis, root cause analysis, and action plans during project reviews.
• Undertake additional responsibilities such as policy localization, training support, data inspection, and strategy evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Fluent in German and English, with communication skills tailored to German markets.
• Knowledge of search engines and social media platforms.
• Flexible to work on various projects and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and nights, for five days a week.
• Willingness to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in QA, moderation, AI annotation, or related fields.
