Nord Anglia International School Dublin is seeking a part-time School Health Care Assistant to provide first aid and care for students and staff, and to run the school sick bay. The role involves close collaboration with staff, parents and the school counsellor to support pupil wellbeing.

The ideal candidate has strong first aid skills, good organisational abilities and enjoys working with children. Prior experience in schools is desirable; right to work in Ireland is required.

Qualifikationen

• Valid First Aid Response (FAR) certification incl. CPR and AED.
• QQI Level 5 major award in Healthcare Support or Nursing Studies or related health qualification.
• Training in safe administration of medication incl adrenaline auto-injectors and inhalers.
• Satisfactory Garda clearance and Tusla Children First E-Learning completion.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide first aid and temporary care to students, staff and visitors.
• Administer prescribed medication per school policy and maintain records.
• Run the sick bay and manage day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate health records and GDPR-compliant documentation.
• Deliver health promotion initiatives and liaise with parents.
