Job summary

Northside Community Enterprises (NCE Ltd) in Cork is seeking a School Aged Care Practitioner for the Little Hands Afterschool Service. Responsibilities include assisting in daily operations, planning creative activities for children aged 4–12, supporting social and physical development, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment aligned with centre policies.

Requirements: minimum 1 year of experience with children; First Aid and Child Protection training are advantageous; QQI Level 5 in Early

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
• First Aid Certificate an advantage.
• Child Protection training an advantage.
• QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day organisation and running of the Afterschool Care Programme.
