Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance Architect for a permanent, hybrid role in Dublin. You will own the S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance solution, working closely with senior client stakeholders and the delivery team to translate requirements into SAP-based designs.

You will lead architecture discussions, oversee GL/AP/AR/AA configurations, and ensure integration with other SAP streams, while guiding risk management and design decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes and GL/AP/AR/AA.
• Experience leading design workshops and managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance solution.
• Gather and analyse business requirements across Finance and Controlling.
• Lead solution-design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into practical SAP solutions.
• Configure and support GL, AP, AR, AA, Project Systems and Lease Accounting.
• Support Cost Centre, Profit Centre, Product Costing and CO-PA processes.
• Manage integration between Finance and other SAP workstreams.
• Provide architectural direction throughout design and implementation.
• Identify solution risks, gaps and dependencies.
• Present recommendations clearly to senior client stakeholders.

Our client is hiring an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance Architect to join a major transformation programme in Dublin.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance solution, working closely with senior client stakeholders and the wider delivery team.
