Job summary

Whitehall Resources is seeking a permanent SAP FICO Business Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Southwest Dublin. You will work within the SAP team focusing on SAP FICO modules and collaborating with Finance stakeholders.

The role involves BAU activities, key transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA implementations, and engagement with senior stakeholders. Three days a week onsite, requiring commuting to Southwest Dublin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' SAP FICO experience.

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance stakeholders to translate requirements into SAP FICO solutions.

SAP FICO Business Analyst - Southwest Dublin

Whitehall Resources are looking for a permanent SAP FICO Business Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Southwest Dublin.

This role sits within the SAP team and focuses on the SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) module. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance stakeholders and SAP SMEs, supporting both BAU activities and key transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA implementations.

The ideal candidate will be a technically strong SAP FICO professional with a proven track record in both configuration and support, coupled with recent S/4HANA implementation experience. They should be comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and operating independently from day one.

This role is 3 days a weeks onsite so you must be commutable to Southwest Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across Group Finance and the Pre-Wholesale business.
• Gather and translate business requirements into SAP FICO solutions.
• Work alongside a team of SAP SMEs and contractors.
• Support SAP FICO projects, enhancements, and S/4HANA initiatives.
• Provide expertise across both implementation and post-go-live support environments.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' SAP FICO experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Credit Management
  • Controlling (CO)
  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Experience across both SAP implementation and support environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capability.
• Strong technical and configuration expertise within SAP FICO.

Additional Requirements

• Previous S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Stable career history.
• Strong configuration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
