Job summary

ALS in Finglas, Dublin, Ireland is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to join our laboratory support team. The role involves collecting samples from customer sites, registering them in the LIMS, and assisting with packaging for dispatch to our laboratories for analysis.

You will proactively monitor sample progress to meet customer requirements and respond to client inquiries, performing other duties as required in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent standards of PC literacy (Excel, Word).
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own and sites workload.
• Able to thrive under pressure and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and flexible approach to work with a firm focus on the customer.

Responsibilities

• Collecting customer samples from customer sites.
• Registering samples on the Laboratory Information Management System for tests required by the client.
• Assist with packaging samples for despatch to laboratories for analysis.
• Proactive monitoring of sample progress through the laboratory to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met and any issues are identified.
• Assist with responding to client enquiries.
• Perform other duties as required.
