Job summary

Sogeti Ireland is seeking a Salesforce Data Cloud Developer to design, build, and support customer data solutions within Salesforce Data Cloud, enabling a unified view across sales, marketing, service and digital channels.

You will develop data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution, segmentation and activation workflows, integrating Salesforce with SAP, Azure, Databricks and other enterprise systems, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360/CDP).
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external data sources via APIs and ETL/ELT.
• Knowledge of data governance, consent management and data quality.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Databricks and analytics in enterprise environments.

YOUR ROLE

As a Salesforce Data Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting customer data solutions within Salesforce Data Cloud, enabling a unified customer view across sales, marketing, service, and digital channels. You will play a key role in building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines, identity resolution processes, calculated insights, audience segmentation, and activation capabilities that power customer engagement and business decision-making. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, CRM teams, and marketing specialists, you will help deliver scalable and reliable customer data solutions that integrate data from Salesforce, SAP, Azure, analytics platforms, and third‑party systems. This role offers the opportunity to work at the centre of a modern customer data ecosystem, supporting advanced personalisation, reporting, AI-driven insights, and customer-centric business transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

• Design, configure, and maintain Salesforce Data Cloud data models, data streams, identity resolution processes, unified customer profiles, and customer data assets.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise platforms including Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud, SAP, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and third‑party applications.
• Build and manage audience segmentation, calculated insights, data transformations, and activation workflows to support marketing, sales, and customer experience use cases.
• Implement data quality, data governance, consent management, and customer data management processes to ensure trusted and compliant customer information.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable Data Cloud solutions and customer data capabilities.
• Support testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation activities across Data Cloud environments and related integrations.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong hands‑on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360/CDP), including data ingestion, identity resolution, unified profiles, calculated insights, segmentation, and activation capabilities.
• Experience integrating Salesforce platforms with external data sources and enterprise systems using APIs, ETL/ELT processes, cloud integration services, and data engineering best practices.
• Strong understanding of customer data management, data modelling, customer identity, consent management, data governance, and data quality principles.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, SQL, and analytics solutions within enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to work in Agile delivery teams, collaborating with architects, marketers, CRM specialists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver customer data and engagement solutions.
