Job summary

capeMBX is seeking an experienced Salesforce Associate Architect to join our Dublin delivery team. This hands-on role designs scalable Salesforce solutions and leads technical delivery across client projects, collaborating with Solution Consultants, Developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable implementations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and delivery of Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud and Agentforce.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and roadmaps.
• Act as the Associate Architect on multiple client projects, ensuring timely delivery to high standards.
• Design and develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, LWC, Flows and modern development practices.
• Review solution architecture, code quality and documentation for consistency.
• Lead technical workshops with clients, advising on platform capabilities and best practices.
• Design and oversee integrations with REST APIs and middleware where appropriate.
• Drive DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, deployment governance and release management.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with consultants, PMs and stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, AI capabilities, Agentforce and emerging tech.

Position Overview:

capeMBX is looking for an experienced Salesforce Associate Architect to join our growing delivery team.

This is a hands-on role responsible for designing scalable Salesforce solutions while leading the technical delivery of client projects. You will work closely with Solution Consultants, Developers and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into high quality Salesforce solutions that are secure, scalable and aligned with best practice.

As an Associate Architect, you will own the technical direction of projects from discovery through to deployment, providing architectural guidance, mentoring developers and ensuring every implementation is delivered to a consistently high standard.

You'll also help shape capeMBX's technical capability, delivery methodology and AI strategy as we continue to grow.

This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days per week based in our Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and delivery of Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud and Agentforce.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Act as the Associate Architecton multiple client projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Design and develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and modern Salesforce development practices.
• Review solution architecture, code quality and technical documentation to ensure consistency across projects.
• Lead technical workshops with clients, providing trusted advice on platform capabilities, integrations and best practice.
• Design and oversee integrations with third party applications using REST APIs, Platform Events and middleware where appropriate.
• Drive Salesforce DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, deployment governance and release management.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, technical coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with consultants, project managers and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, AI capabilities, Agentforce and emerging platform technologies, recommending innovative approaches where appropriate.
• Contribute to the development of capeMBX accelerators, reusable assets and technical standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Previous experience leading Salesforce implementation projects or acting as Technical Lead on enterprise or mid-market programmes.
• Expert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Flows and Salesforce platform architecture.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing model, governor limits and performance optimisation.
• Proven experience designing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs and modern integration patterns.
• Experience using Git based development, Salesforce DX and CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications.
• Experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Experience delivering Agentforce or AI-powered Salesforce solutions.
• Experience with Data Cloud or Marketing Cloud.
• Experience working within a Salesforce Partner or consulting environment.
• Experience mentoring and developing technical team members.
• Experience estimating technical work and contributing to presales activities.
