POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Inside Sales Specialists position is multifaceted and focuses on three key components to elevate the Sales division of FORTÉ. These focuses include building and strengthening relationships, providing Account Manager support to enable maximum field time, and leveraging profit enhancing programs. The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for learning FORTÉ business practices, products and services along with a broad understanding of the technology industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Serve as a key support resource for the sales team, assisting with the creation and execution of sales plans, preparing proposals, and coordinating customer visits, presentations, and events.
- Leads and customer calls for Sellers are qualified for urgency and specific needs and promptly communicated to the seller.
- Customer problems or complaints are immediately brought to the attention of the seller and/or sales manager.
- Customer orders are processed, and new customers go onboard in a timely fashion
- Processes orders timely including complex orders adhering to FORTÉ’s order processing guidelines.
- Maintains the FORTÉ Order Processing sheet and communicates order statuses with Account Managers
- Onboard with new customers
- Enhances the marketing efforts of the Account Manager by assisting with business development activities
- Coordinates with vendors for the procurement and the tracking of demo equipment as requested by Sellers.
- Results proven with Customers demonstrating an earned level of professional respect and trust with the Account Manager
- Demonstrates efforts to develop and enhance relationships with manufacturers
- Regularly reads industry publications and demonstrates improving knowledge of the Audiovisual industries.
- Performs product research to support sales efforts and respond to questions from Sellers and customers.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of FORTÉ’s business model, history, qualifications, and Practices and service offerings.
Professional Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- This position requires an aggressive and competitive nature, outgoing personality, and good listening skills.
- Required skills include a leaving Certificate education, good verbal and written communication skills, and organized working skills.
- The person must have computer literacy skills and basic knowledge in word processing. Face-to-face communication skills, telephone communication skills, and customer relation skills are very vital to success in this position.
- Ability to write simple correspondence, effectively present information and respond to questions from sales representatives and customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to competently prioritize responsibilities.
- Competently communicate with managers, customers, manufacturers, Account Managers and peers
