Principal Objective Of The Position

Working within an Office Support Team of three, the primary purpose of this role is to support a busy Sales Team and the Warehouse Supervisor through taking calls and orders and manage stock. This position is critical in ensuring the operation of an effective and efficient sales support function. The office supervisor will provide direction and support as required and will provide regular feedback.

Main Duties
  • Answer inbound calls from customers ensuring excellent customer care and service is provided, including responding to missed calls and queries in an efficient manner.
  • Take and place customer orders.
  • Upload orders to our IT system and generating customer invoices.
  • Act as a key interface with Customer Web Portals – placing orders and generating invoices on customer portals.
  • Working with Warehouse Manager to monitor stock; generate orders to suppliers and reconciling stock.
  • Support the sales team in answering customer queries.
  • Provide general administrative support for the wider Lubricants team when required.
  • Comply and uphold with all company polices in relation to HSE, IT and company procedures.
  • Scope to assist in produce sales.
Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Educated to Leaving Certificate or higher (or equivalent)
  • At least 12 months experience working in a busy customer service environment
  • Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Certificate level or higher in business administration is desirable.
