Overview

Our business is growing - are you passionate about retail and people? If so, we've just the position for you. We are looking for permanent Full and Part Time Sales Assistants to join our team in Robinstown, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.

Role purpose

To assist in all aspects of the retail store including the sales, fresh food department, profitability, waste and quality of all products, displays and customer service. Work collaboratively with the site management and colleagues to help drive the store. This would suit someone who has experience in delivering a first class customer experience and has a natural flair for working with a team while also enjoying using their own initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority and consistently deliver an exceptional service by displaying I-CARE service excellence behaviours. Professionally handle all customer queries and complaints in line with company policy, in a timely manner and escalate where appropriate.
  • Operations & Standards: Ensure and take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day running of all aspects of the site. Ensure that the site reflects company's standards of merchandising, presentation and Customer Care. Deliver new concepts as created. Bring innovation to promotions and displays.
  • Stock Management: Ordering of stock from approved suppliers and in adherence to agreed product specification. Strictly follow stock rotation and control, traceability, correct storage and handling of each product. Record wastage and address daily and weekly. Ensure there is sufficient product for sale, yet keeping wastage levels to a minimum at all times.
