Job summary

PPG's Johnstone’s Decorating Centre in Navan, Ireland, is seeking a Sales Assistant for a permanent, full-time position in our Architectural Coatings division. You will be a friendly, customer-focused presence on the trade counter, providing product recommendations and ensuring a welcoming store environment.

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is desirable, and you will receive in-store training and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Customer facing experience is desirable.
• Good communications skills and a positive customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to learn and work with IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter and in-store in a friendly and professional manner.
• Undertake required training to confidently select the correct product for customers’ needs and promote the brand.
• Keep store well-presented and clean at all times.
• Follow stock management procedures by taking deliveries and keeping shelves full.
