Job summary

Kilkenny Design is seeking fully flexible Seasonal Sales Assistants for our Cashel store. The role runs to December 2026 with hours rostered across weekdays, weekends, daytime and evening shifts.

You will be the face of Kilkenny, delivering exceptional service and product knowledge, while supporting stock replenishment and store standards. You will thrive in a collaborative team, communicate effectively, and aim to maximise sales.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer focus with ability to upsell and manage inquiries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrate product knowledge, and build quality relationships to achieve business goals while representing Kilkenny Design.
• Maintain shop floor standards, assist with stock replenishment, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day store operations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximise sales and reach targets through friendly, team‑oriented service.
• Be an ambassador for Kilkenny’s values and brand across all customer interactions.

• Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have full flexibility and availability across the working week. Hours are rostered on a rotating schedule including weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evening shifts.

Kilkenny Design are currently looking for a fully flexible sales assistant to join our team in Cashel. Contracts are to December, and hours are rostered on rotating schedule including weekdays, weekends, daytime & evening shifts Monday to Sunday.

Our sales assistants are at the heart of what we do, they live and breathe our core values, and they strive to make anything possible for our customers. In return we will support you during your time with us.

About You

You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating product knowledge, and building quality customer relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for our values and the Kilkenny brand.

You will also:

• Have great communication and organisational skills to keep the shop floor running smoothly and ensuring general store standards and stock replenishment are carried out/maintained.
• Be collaborative in your nature, and thrive as part of a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers alike.
• Maximise the sales potential of your area and enjoy the thrill of achieving sales targets.
