Job summary

Kavanagh Group in Ireland is seeking a store associate to assist with stock rotation, merchandising, and customer service. You will follow planograms, ensure products are faced, and manage till operations to keep checkout running smoothly.

The role requires daily attention to stock control, price integrity, and adherence to company policies. Candidates should be prepared to maintain high standards of customer care and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rotate all stock and check dates daily, ensure First In First Out.
• Follow the planogram for merchandising and face off products.
• Position Sel’s under starting position and use POS for promotions.
• Observe the Gap Policy for out-of-stock items and label accordingly.
• Keep display well stocked and manage back-store stock.
• Coordinate till operator duties to ensure checkout runs efficiently.
• Adhere to company rules, policies and procedures at all times.

Job Description

• Rotate all stock and check dates every day. Ensure First In First Out
• Follow the planogram when merchandising. A planogram is a chart showing what order the products should be stocked on the shelf
• Face Off all products i.e. All products are in their correct place as per planogram and brought to the front of the shelf
• Position Sel’s directly under the starting position of the products and use POS effectively for promotional items
• If the product is out of stock follow the Gap Policy which is do not fill the area with another product, put up an out of stock label so the person responsible for ordering will order the product
• Keep the display well stocked
• When returning the combie to the back store ensure stock not required is stored in the correct section in the back store
• Should there be wastage or damaged goods in the department, bring goods to the back store
• Put all plastic and cardboard boxes into the correct bailer. If the bailer is full follow instructions on the bailer to empty it
• If you are ordering for the section, ensure you order sufficient stock numbers
• Review pcoms weekly on the staff notice boards & social media to ensure you have all information on quality, promotions, price and general updates
• Always ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority by greeting each customer as if it’s their first visit to the store and consistently deliver an exceptional service by displaying I-CARE service excellence behaviours
• Oversee that duties and functions of staff members are carried out effectively and efficiently; escalated any issues to management accordingly.
• Co-ordinate all till operator duties to ensure checkout area is run efficiently.
• Adhere to company rules, policies and procedures always;
