Job summary

Senneca Holdings is seeking an experienced Sales Application Engineer at our Dublin, IE facility. You will design and execute client projects, collaborate with the sales team and product managers, and travel to customer sites to validate designs and perform site measures.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in drafting/design/engineering with experience in Solidworks/AutoCAD and MS Office, plus strong communication and teamwork skills to support project success.

Qualifications

• Experience with design reviews and client communication preferred.

We are searching for an experienced Sales Application Engineer at our Dublin, IE facility.

Design

Responsible for the design and execution (and to some extent project management) of client projects along with members of the sales team. Work to improve efficiency to reduce waste in design to improve customer outcomes and company profitability.

Collaborate with assigned members of the Sales Team for process improvement, sales support expectations, and project completion. Collaborates with Product Managers for successful implementation of new and existing products, including research and development, application, and product improvement.

Assist

Assist the sales team with back end duties such as technical/installation drawings, acceptable design/use review, technical/design support, and client conference with sales team members.

Travel to customer sites to validate designs, perform site measures, and support sales team as needed.

Bachelor's Degree in drafting/design/engineering and/or equivalent work experience in combination with certifications.

Experience working in “Fishbowl” tool a plus but not required.

Solid knowledge of drafting and design theory and practices, a working knowledge of Solidworks and/or AutoCAD, MS Office, and related business software. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and installation/construction practices is preferred.
