Sales Advisor – Personal Lines Insurance

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-established and trusted insurance provider, seeking Sales Advisors to join their Personal Lines Team at their Cavan branch. In this role, you will provide tailored advice to new and existing clients across a wide range of insurance products, including car, van, home, and travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert and prompt advice to new and existing customers regarding their insurance needs.
  • Provide quotations and set up new policies.
  • Maximise all sales opportunities, identifying additional coverage options for customers.
  • Handle policy adjustments, renewals, and customer queries effectively.
  • Handle customer complaints in line with company procedures, with professionalism and empathy.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets while maintaining high-quality service.
  • Follow Central Bank of Ireland regulations and requirements.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential:
    • Experience in selling motor and/or household insurance products.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to work within a target-driven environment.
    • Computer literate with experience in relevant systems.
  • Desirable:
    • APA in Personal Lines or equivalent qualification.
    • Experience broking car, van, household, and travel insurance.
    • Working knowledge of Relay or similar insurance systems.
    • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record.
