Job summary

BT Group invites applications for a S2C Project Manager to drive the Source-to-Contract transformation, coordinating across Procurement, Finance, Digital, Legal and Risk. The role focuses on governance, benefits tracking and successful adoption of the new operating model.

You will lead end-to-end transformation initiatives, manage dependencies, and report to senior stakeholders on progress and outcomes, with a strong emphasis on governance and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven programme and project management experience delivering complex transformations across multiple functions.
• Strong understanding of Source-to-Contract processes including sourcing, contracting, onboarding, and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation programmes with risk and dependency management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of the Source-to-Contract transformation roadmap.
• Establish governance structures, delivery plans, reporting, milestone tracking and RAID management.
• Coordinate activities across Procurement, Finance, Digital, Legal, Risk, Supplier Assurance and business stakeholders.
• Support workforce planning, onboarding and allocation of resources to meet delivery needs.
• Define and report programme benefits, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Coordinate readiness for policy, process, technology and operating model changes.
• Support design and rollout of the Target Operating Model and alignment across workstreams.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and provide clear progress updates.

About the role

This role is critical to delivering BT's Source-to-Pay Transformation ambitions by modernising and standardising Source-to-Contract processes across the organisation. By leading key transformation initiatives and coordinating multiple stakeholders, the S2C Project Manager helps improve governance, reduce risk, accelerate sourcing outcomes, enhance supplier onboarding and assurance, and ensure procurement processes support BT's strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing

• S2C Transformation Delivery: Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Source-to-Contract transformation roadmap, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to programme objectives.
• Programme Governance & Control: Establish and maintain governance structures, delivery plans, reporting, milestone tracking, RAID management and Steering Committee updates to ensure effective programme oversight.
• Cross-Functional Delivery Management: Coordinate activities across Procurement, Finance, Digital, Legal, Risk, Supplier Assurance and business stakeholders to manage dependencies and ensure successful outcomes.
• Resource & Capacity Planning: Support workforce planning, onboarding, external recruitment and allocation of resources to meet programme delivery requirements.
• Benefits Realisation & Performance Tracking: Define, track and report programme benefits, KPIs and success measures, ensuring outcomes are aligned to business objectives and transformation targets.
• Business Readiness & Adoption: Coordinate readiness activities to support policy, process, technology and operating model changes, ensuring effective adoption and transition into business operations.
• Target Operating Model Implementation: Support the design, development and rollout of the S2P Target Operating Model and ensure alignment across S2C, P2P, Supplier Management and technology workstreams.
• Stakeholder Management & Executive Communication: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide clear, concise updates on progress, risks, decisions and delivery outcomes.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Proven programme and project management experience, delivering complex business transformation initiatives across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Source-to-Contract processes, including sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, supplier assurance and procurement governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, drive decision-making and provide clear updates on programme delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale transformation programmes, managing risks, dependencies and cross-functional delivery within complex enterprise environments.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience implementing Target Operating Models, governance frameworks and process transformation initiatives.
• Ability to define, track and report programme benefits, KPIs and performance measures to demonstrate business value.
• Experience working with procurement, contracting or supplier management platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Icertis, Sirion, ZIP, ORO Labs or similar solutions.
• Awareness of procurement technologies, workflow orchestration tools and digital transformation principles.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
