Job description

We are a team dedicated to designing, developing, maintaining, and improving software for various venture projects, which are adjacent to our core businesses and are rapidly bootstrapped with a lean team. You will be actively involved in designing components for scalable applications, covering frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage in development activities including coding, proposing architectural decisions, participating in design and code reviews, and implementing solutions to complex problems within the blockchain protocol.
• Analyze and resolve challenging issues across the blockchain protocol.
• Collaborate closely with operations and infrastructure teams to build high-scale backend services.
• Maintain documentation for all code and functionalities implemented.
• Work with DevOps and ecosystem engineers to enhance the tech stack for long-term engineering initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Passion for building first-class products to solve real-world problems.
• Experience with various technologies, quick learner, and a proactive "get things done" attitude.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing conflicting stakeholder requirements.

• 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably with strong backend development skills (e.g., Go, Rust, Java, Erlang).
• Hands-on experience with cryptographic primitives (e.g., digital signatures, key exchange, encryption) using tools like BouncyCastle in Java.
• Basic knowledge of distributed systems and consensus algorithms such as Raft or PBFT.
• Interest or experience in Go or Rust; experience with blockchain system internals is a plus but not required.
