Job summary

Trouw Nutrition Ireland is seeking a Ruminant Technical Advisor to support dairy and ruminant nutrition for B2B feed mill customers and on-farm teams across Ireland. The role is field-based and customer-facing with training, data review and technical discussions.

You will work closely with Account Managers to translate technical insights into practical solutions, maintain customer relationships and support business growth while staying current on ruminant nutrition and dairy production practices.

Qualifications

• This role requires a solid foundation in ruminant nutrition, with the ability to translate data into practical advice.
• Experience communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Account Managers and technical colleagues.
• Proficiency with basic Excel and willingness to learn specific systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and nutritional support to B2B dairy and ruminant customers.
• Visit customers across Ireland, primarily ROI, with 3-4 days per week in peak seasons.
• Analyse data and translate findings into practical recommendations for customers.
• Deliver trainings and technical presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
