Job summary

The g Hotel & Spa in Galway is seeking a Room Attendant to support the Head Housekeeper and ensure every bedroom and bathroom is clean and well-presented for guests.

As a Room Attendant you will be part of a vibrant team within the Leonardo Hotels estate, acting as an ambassador for the hotel and delivering the guest care standard we pride ourselves on. We offer flexible working conditions with overtime, full training, and clear progression opportunities across our UK & Ireland hotels.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming
• Refreshing of all towels and linen as required
• Stripping and making beds
• Cleaning bathrooms
• Reporting any maintenance issues and safety hazards
• Working as part of a vibrant team to exceed our guests’ expectations

Job description

The Room Attendant will support the smooth running and objectives of the Housekeeping department. All members of the department work together to create memorable moments for guests, in line with both company and hotel-specific service standards, and collaborate closely with other departments within the hotel. You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness. As a Room Attendant, you’ll be right in the heart of the hotel, so we want you to take pride in everything you’ll be doing to support the Head Housekeeper and keep our hotel clean as a whistle. We offer flexible working conditions with the opportunity for overtime. Full training will be provided so that you are confident to ensure that every bedroom and bathroom is clean and well-presented for our guests.
