Tusker Construction Group in Ireland is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to prepare and operate CNC machinery for structural steel fabrication on various sites.

You will read and interpret drawings, set up tools, monitor runs, and ensure dimensional accuracy, while following safety protocols. This full-time on-the-road role offers hourly pay €14.15–€19.00 and opportunities for training. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC Operator experience essential.
• Proficient ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Ability to work within a team and on your own initiative.
• Awareness and experience on hand-tools and handling steel and other building materials.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Manual Handling and Abrasive Wheels Training advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Prepare CNC machinery for operation by loading necessary tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
• Input program specifications into CNC machines using specialized software for structural steel fabrication.
• Position structural steel components accurately within the CNC machine, ensure alignment and clamping.
• Monitor CNC operations during fabrication to ensure precision and quality.
• Inspect fabricated steel parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; maintain production records.
• Collaborate with welders, fitters, and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
