Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking a Manager to lead our Financial Services Risk and Regulatory team in Dublin, delivering advisory engagements across risk, governance and regulatory compliance. You’ll work in an Irish-based, internationally connected team, providing solutions to complex regulatory challenges for clients in insurance, banking and asset management.

Qualifications

• Degree and professional qualifications in compliance or risk.
• Minimum of 5 years in a consultancy or financial services risk/regulatory role.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and controls.

Key Responsibilities as a Manager:

Qualifications:

• Degree qualified or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications e.g Professional Diploma in Compliance, PRMIA.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar consultancy environment or in a financial services company with a strong experience in risk or regulatory compliance; Experience of the regulatory framework and working in a compliance/risk department of an authorised firm.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of the financial services industry. Cross financial sector experience is an advantage; Understanding of relevant key Risk & Regulatory issues; Demonstrate ability to develop proactive and constructive recommendations; Proficiency in operational processes and systems, with an appreciation of the concept of controls and risk management in a regulatory environment; Ability to understand/interpret new and existing regulatory requirements; Effective communication and report writing skills; Strong time management and organisational skills; Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team; Quick to take and understand a brief; Ability to deal with ambiguity and autonomy (think on one’s feet).
