McMahons Builders Providers invites applications for a Lorry Driver based in Carrigaline. You will be the face of our trusted brand, delivering materials to sites and homes with professionalism and a friendly approach.

You will work with a supportive branch team, plan routes with operations, perform multi-drop deliveries, and handle materials safely using HIAB and forklift equipment. Training and PPE are provided to ensure safe, confident work.

Competenze

• Requires a full, clean HGV Class 2 licence and at least five years driving experience.
• Holds CPC certification (5 modules) and a digital tachograph card.
• Safe Pass certified or willing to complete training.
• Forklift licence and HIAB crane experience (or willing to learn).

Mansioni

• Deliver materials to construction sites and customers, representing McMahons Builders Providers.
• Plan routes with the operations team and perform multi-drop deliveries.
• Handle materials with care using HIAB crane and forklift where required.
• Maintain safety, PPE usage and professional customer interactions.

We’re now looking for an experienced Lorry Driver to join our Carrigaline team – someone who takes pride in getting the job done safely, efficiently, and with a smile.

About the Role

As a McMahons Driver, you’re much more than just someone behind the wheel – you’re often the first and most regular point of contact for our customers. Whether you're delivering materials to a busy construction site or a customer’s home renovation project, your professionalism and people skills make a lasting impression.

You’ll be working closely with a supportive branch team who value collaboration, clear communication, and looking out for each other. Every day brings variety – from planning your route with the operations team to making multi-drop deliveries and handling materials with care using a HIAB crane and forklift.

We’ll support you every step of the way with structured training in areas like load securement and manual handling, and you’ll be provided with everything you need to work safely and confidently – from PPE and a company phone to regular health and safety updates.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who:

• Brings a full, clean HGV Class 2 licence and at least five years of driving experience.
• Holds up-to-date CPC certification (5 modules) and a digital tachograph card.
• Is Safe Pass certified (or willing to complete training).
• Has a forklift licence and experience operating a HIAB crane (or is eager to learn).
• Communicates clearly and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in delivering great service.
