Job summary

Primeline Group in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, is seeking a reliable Rigid Driver to perform multi-drop deliveries across the Leinster region. You will operate a rigid vehicle, carry out vehicle checks, and ensure safety, accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Full, clean Category C licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification up to date.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in a multi-drop delivery environment.
• Tail-lift operation experience.
• Strong awareness of transport compliance and road safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Positive, flexible, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail stores using a rigid vehicle.
• Deliver goods safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
• Service routes primarily across the Leinster region.
• Operate tail-lift equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report defects.
• Return vehicle to the Ashbourne depot at end of shift.
• Complete delivery documentation and driver debriefs.
• Adhere to road traffic legislation, H&S standards, and company policies.
• Work additional hours and overtime as required.

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Rigid Drivers to join our transport team based in Ashbourne. This is a full-time, permanent position involving multi-drop deliveries to retail stores primarily across the Leinster region. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail stores using a rigid vehicle.
• Deliver goods safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures.
• Primarily service routes throughout the Leinster region.
• Operate tail-lift equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
• Return vehicle to the Ashbourne depot at the end of each shift.
• Complete all required delivery documentation and driver debriefs.
• Adhere to all road traffic legislation, H&S standards, and company policies.
• Work additional hours and overtime when required to support business needs.

Essential Requirements
