Job summary

The role requires proven fast-paced retail leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of developing teams. Flexible hours include weekends and evenings to align with trading periods.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and a clear understanding of sales/profit drivers.
• Demonstrable experience managing sales targets and KPIs.
• A successful track record of leading, motivating and developing teams.
• Excellent communication, coaching and people-management skills.
• Confidence in making commercial decisions and owning results.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of retail policies and procedures is desirable.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and late-night shopping hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing retail team.
• Drive sales and profitability while achieving KPIs and commercial targets.
• Analyse store performance and implement effective action plans.
• Recruit, onboard, coach and retain talented team members.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Deliver an excellent customer experience and maintain high service standards.
• Plan rotas effectively and manage staffing levels in line with business requirements.
• Oversee stock management, merchandising and loss-prevention activities.
• Ensure the store complies with company policies, retail procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Build a positive, inclusive and results-focused store culture.
• Work closely with both full-time and part-time colleagues across all trading periods.
