Job summary

Sports Direct in a busy store network is looking for a Sales Assistant to be on the front line, helping customers, keeping the floor sharp, and supporting the team through every trading day.

You will receive a full in-store induction, with progression pathways into Supervisor and Management programmes within the Frasers Group, plus staff discounts and a fast-paced, energetic atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Confident, friendly and positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Team-player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and reliable, especially during peak trade.
• Motivated to deliver results and take pride in your work.
• Retail or customer service experience is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and help them find the right product.
• Deliver brilliant service at every touchpoint from door to till.
• Keep shop floor tidy, well-stocked, and visually on point.
• Replenish shelves and rails so the floor is always ready for the next customer.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Promote current offers and upsell opportunities.
• Work as one team to hit daily sales and service goals.
