Job summary

Dunnes Stores in Cork is seeking a Loss Prevention Manager to join our Cork store team. You will develop and implement strategies to minimise theft, oversee safety standards, and manage security policies, including surveillance and investigations.

You will lead and train security teams, build relationships with local Gardai, and ensure staff education on security and H&S. The role requires retail experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in asset protection, loss prevention or security management in retail.
• Strong knowledge of security strategies, surveillance, and inventory control.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft.
• Implement security policies aligned with company goals.
• Conduct risk assessments and address vulnerabilities.
• Maintain relationships with Gardai and other agencies.
• Investigate, report and resolve suspected theft or fraud.
• Manage surveillance systems and security reporting.
• Collaborate with operations, legal, and health & safety teams.
• Train and develop store security teams.
• Oversee education of staff on security and H&S issues.
