Job summary

Primark is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk‑based audits across store operations, retail processes, and customer‑facing activities. You will manage audit teams, deliver high‑quality reports, and ensure timely issue remediation.

You will collaborate with the Head of Internal Audit within the Finance function. This role offers exposure to a fast‑growing value fashion retail group and potential for personal development with limited travel.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Minimum of five years experience in audit, assurance or risk management.
• Solid knowledge of risk‑based auditing standards and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver end-to-end audits across Primark operations with teams.
• Perform robust risk assessments and define audit scopes and objectives.
• Lead fieldwork, supervise staff, and ensure evidence‑based conclusions.
• Prepare clear audit reports with practical, risk‑focused recommendations.
• Act as primary audit contact for management and maintain independence.
• Provide KPI reporting by business area and manage issue tracking and remediation.
