Overview

We are looking for an upbeat, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to join our award winning team here at The Old Lodge Gastropub, located at The Shannon Springs Hotel, as a Food and Beverage Supervisor. As Supervisor, you will play an integral role in the overall operation of The Old Lodge Gastropub and the delivery of excellent guest service. This is a Full Time position that consists of weekday and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that our guests have an enjoyable guest experience when they visit us at The Old Lodge Gastropub.
• Ensure that Service Standards are implemented on a day to day basis.
• Be fully aware of what is happening in the operation in terms of bookings, events and special promotions.
• Motivate, organise and delegate duties to the team each evening.
• Greet, welcome and seat guests
• Maintain a visible presence in the room
• Deal with complaints in a professional and prompt manner.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a food and beverage establishment is required. Team Lead/Supervisory experience desirable.
• A positive attitude with a passion for the hospitality industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to multi task and a fine eye for detail.
• An authentic people person who can deliver exceptional customer service with confidence and professionalism.
• Ability to take the initiative and demonstrate working independently while handling multiple responsibilities and following up on queries and inquiries as part of a daily routine.
• Level headed with strong problem-solving skills and a natural ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to problems.
• Fluent English.
• Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
