OhioHealth Corporation is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to patients. You will evaluate appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy and communicate findings to the care team.

May act as charge therapist in absence of management. Responsibilities include administering MDI and nebulization, managing ventilation, observing patients, preparing treatments, and responding to emergencies.

Competenze

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care required.
• NBRC-RRT registry certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Home Care department: valid state driver’s license (if applicable).

Mansioni

• Maintains records and communicates information.
• Administers MDI, nebulization, chest physiotherapy, positive pressure therapy, ventilation and aerosol therapy; monitors patient response.
• Prepares treatments per physician orders; reviews requests; gathers materials; explains procedures to patient.
• Maintains airway and adequate respiratory support; may perform intubation in emergencies per policy.
• Performs suctioning and arterial blood gas sampling for diagnostic data.
• Responds to stat/ER calls and supports trauma/resuscitation; assists with ventilator transport.
