Job summary

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult/Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s ABC team, based in location. The role focuses on high-quality, person-centred social care for young people in residential settings, promoting safety, wellbeing and positive life outcomes.

You will develop care plans, liaise with families and external agencies, and participate in training and professional development. This role includes a salary progression and pension benefits, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 in Social Care (or equivalent).
• Children's mainstream experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres and Children’s First.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Care and Placement Plans with accurate records.
• Promote welfare and rights of each young person.
• Support education, medical appointments and personal development.
• Manage personal documentation, finances and arrangements; liaise with families and agencies.
• Build positive relationships through activities and general support.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with budgeting and house upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records and incident documentation.
• Attend team meetings and communicate with management.
• Maintain professional knowledge through training and policy updates.
• Comply with health and safety, regulations and sustainable practices.
