We are hiring ResidentialSocial Care Workerfor a Community-based organisation that provides a wide range of health-related and social services to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism in Dublin, Ireland

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing, new, and prospective patients based on their needs, desires, and limitations
  • Maintain constant communication with residents while addressing their concerns and goals and helping them keep positive attitudes
  • Coordinate with PT and OT departments to assist in helping residents feel comfortable and confident
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and in-house clinical guidelines
  • Develop care plans for residents and provide therapeutic support as needed

Requirements
  • QQI Level 7 / 8 Bachelor Degree in Social Care related qualifications or equivalent - example: Psychology
  • Registered with or eligible to register with CORU by November 2025.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communion skills.
  • Strong IT skills and Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Full, clean manual driving license (This is an essential requirement for some of our services)
  • Prior experience of working in disability services is desirable.
  • Knowledge of New Directions Services & Supports for adults with disabilities would be advantageous.
