Cpl Healthcare are seeking qualified Social Care Assistants for residential services based in Wexford. You will support adults in intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting, helping with independent living skills and integration into the community.

Perm and contract positions are available. You will model and coordinate support to residents, maintain safety and dignity, assist with personal care, and work closely with the wider support network to deliver high-quality, person-centred

Qualifications

Fetac level 5 in Healthcare or similar required.
Experience working with vulnerable adults with complex needs.
Full clean driving license required.
Knowledge of HIQA regulations and National Standard policies.
Experience and understanding of person-centred care and planning.

Responsabilités

Model and coordinate support to residents, contributing to a safe homely environment with person-centred, holistic personal support.
Provide support to residents with intellectual disabilities in all aspects of daily living, including personal care.
Work in partnership with the person supported, community, and wider support circle to ensure quality service.
Participate in regular house meetings.
Ensure residents' support needs are met in daily life.
Offer a healthy, nutritious diet considering individual needs and choices.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date residents’ records.
Ensure health and safety in the home in line with policy and procedure and keep records up to date.
Maintain all appropriate records for each resident and support a resident with personal and social needs.
