Medforce Healthcare is seeking a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) for a residential service in Longford. You will lead the care team, ensure safe, person-centred care, and maintain high standards of quality, compliance and service delivery.

The role emphasizes advocacy, excellence, integrity, collaboration and human rights, with responsibility for HIQA standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years’ management or supervisory experience within health or social care.
• Demonstrable knowledge of quality, regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Experience working with individuals with autism is highly desirable.
• Full, current driving licence with eligibility to drive in Ireland.
• Access to your own vehicle.
• Eligible to live and work in Ireland without restriction.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and direction to the service and care team.
• Take the lead on shift and support the effective day-to-day running of the service.
• Promote high standards of person-centred care and support.
• Participate in the assessment of individuals’ needs and the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
• Ensure care interventions are delivered appropriately and monitor outcomes.
• Support the induction, training and development of new and existing team members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation, assessments and records.
• Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits and quality checks and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote a positive, collaborative and supportive working environment.
• Work closely with colleagues, families and relevant multidisciplinary professionals.
• Participate in the service's on-call support system.
