Job summary

Gi Group Ireland is seeking a Registered Architect (RIAI) to join a growing residential development team based in the Midlands. You will lead design, coordination, planning, and compliance across large-scale housing projects, with BCAR Assigned Certifier duties.

Based on site in Co Westmeath, the role is fully onsite and requires a current RIAI registration, 3–5+ years post-registration, and strong AutoCAD/Revit/BIM skills to deliver end-to-end residential schemes in accordance with Irish

Qualifications

• RIAI registration with post-registration experience (3–5+ years).
• Deep knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR procedures and residential standards.
• Experience as Design Architect, Project Architect, or Assigned Certifier on residential projects.
• Ability to deliver end-to-end from planning to completion.
• Strong technical detailing and construction method knowledge (timber frame, masonry, modern methods).
• Experience with large-scale housing estates and apartment schemes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM workflows.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design and project execution for residential housing.
• Produce planning, tender, and detailed construction packages.
• Align site layouts with local authority requirements and Irish Regulations.
• Coordinate with civil/structural engineers and BCAR processes.
• Conduct site inspections and provide construction oversight.
