Job summary

HYPOWER M&E PTE. LTD. seeks a Resident Technical Officer to oversee daily construction operations, ensuring works are performed safely and in line with approved plans and regulations.

The role requires a valid RTO accreditation, 3+ years of civil/structural supervision experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate contractors and ensure quality and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Must hold RTO accreditation by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in civil/structural supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and on-site supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractors' daily activities, on-site progress, schedules and safety.
• Highlight discrepancies, provide feedback to QPs/Consultants/Employer on progress and non-conformances.
• Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements and approved plans.

Job description

The Resident Technical Officer (RTO) is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring construction works are carried out safely, accurately, and in compliance with approved plans, specifications, and statutory requirements. The role involves supervising contractor activities, identifying discrepancies, monitoring progress, and supporting the project team in ensuring quality and timely execution of all works.

Job Scope:

• Monitor contractors' all type of daily activity, site progress, schedule and safety on site.
• Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and non-conformances/ irregularities to QPs/ Consultants/ Employer.
• To ensure all the construction works have complied statutory requirements

Job Requirements:

• Must be registered as Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
• At least 3 Years of relevant working experience and a diploma in the civil/structural discipline or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent.
• Must be a team player with strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.
