Job summary

Leopardstown Park Hospital is seeking a Multi-Task Attendant (MTA) to rotate across Household, Portering, Reception and Administrative Support within the Resident Services Department at Leopardstown Park Hospital in Foxrock, South County Dublin.

The role requires QQI Level 5 in Health Service Skills or equivalent, strong communication and multi-tasking abilities, and a commitment to confidentiality and resident care.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support, or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and work across multiple departments.
• Demonstrate commitment to confidentiality, hygiene, and person-centred service.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between Household, Portering, Reception, Administrative Support, and other duties as rostered to support hospital operations.
• Follow HIQA, infection control and hospital policies in daily tasks.
• Maintain courteous, compassionate, and professional conduct at all times.
• Perform Household duties including cleaning, laundry, waste handling and meal deliveries as required.
• Greet visitors, manage sign-in logs, answer queries, and uphold security and confidentiality.
• Carry out clerical tasks such as data entry, filing and scanning; support transport records and internal communications.
• Adhere to confidentiality, complete incident forms, and assist with investigations as needed.
• Follow Health and Safety policies, attend training, and wear PPE and uniform as required.
• Represent the hospital professionally and be an ambassador for its values.
