Job summary

CareBright Ltd in Ireland is seeking an experienced care assistant to support nursing staff in delivering person-centred care to residents, learn their interests, provide companionship, and promote mobility.

You will assist with personal appearance, eating and drinking, support social activities, maintain communication with families, uphold cleanliness and health and safety standards, and carry out duties as directed by the Nurse in Charge.

Qualifications

• Support nursing staff in delivering person-centred care.
• Get to know residents’ interests and needs.
• Provide attention, support and companionship.
• Promote mobility of residents and assist to improve it.
• Assist residents with personal appearance and hygiene.
• Aid residents to eat and drink and achieve physical comfort.
• Participate in and organise social activities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and health and safety.
