Key duties include assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and participation in social activities, while maintaining dignity and communicating changes to the team. Full training and guaranteed hours are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have FETAC/QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and active listening skills are essential.
• Professional, dependable and committed to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Build relationships with residents and provide attention, support and companionship.
• Promote mobility and assist with safe movement.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene while maintaining dignity.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Support residents with eating, drinking and comfort.
• Participate in organising and delivering social and recreational activities.
• Maintain strong communication with residents' families.
• Assist in keeping the home clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Contribute to Health and Safety standards throughout the home.
