Job summary

Crédit Agricole Creditor Insurance (CACI) in Dublin seeks an actuarial professional with 2+ years in actuarial roles and programming experience. The role involves maintaining reserving programs, data centralization, and developing new functionalities for partners live in Titan.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with Data Management, IT, and Finance teams to deliver accurate monthly closes and robust data controls. English fluency required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 2+ years of actuarial experience and programming exposure required.
• SAS/SQL/Python experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Setup and ensure timely monthly reserve closing processes and data integrity.
• Develop and test new reserving methodologies and programs.
• Maintain and enhance the Data Centralizer for all live Titan partners.
• Debug and improve existing VBA macros and programs.
• Contribute to other key actuarial data projects.

Job description

• Participate in ensuring reserving programs are set up in a timely manner in time for the monthly closing of the accounts.
• Participate in the development and testing of new methodologies for calculating the technical reserves.
• Improvements to existing programs.
• Debugging issues with existing programs and VBA macros.
• Maintenance of the Data Centralizer for all the partners that are live in Titan.
• Develop new functionalities in the Data Centralizer for partners that are live in Titan.
• Contribute to other key projects.

Reserving Program migration

• Develop applications for creation of new reserving programs.
• Communicate and Review program specifications with Data Management.
• User Acceptance Testing of programs before entering into production.
• Documentation of progress and checks carried out.

Database Management & Reporting

• Assist in defining data and reporting requirements while setting up new partners/products/reinsurance treaties.
• Complete monthly controls for Audit/Governance.
• Participate in the regular report running schedule and process.
• Identify and report data entry errors. Monitor progress made toward resolution of errors and contribute to creation of new controls.

• Develop good relationships with Data Management Team
• With IT, Project, Administration & Operations, Finance and Business Development Departments
• With corporate clients and Third-Party Administrators (TPA)
  Liaise closely with the Reserving Production team To be back-up of the fellow colleague in situation of absence.
