A Research Support Officer Admin / Project Manager position is available at the Tangney Lab at Cancer Research at UCC, Western Gateway Building, University College Cork, to cover maternity leave for 12 months. Cancer Research @UCC is a translational cancer research centre within the College of Medicine & Health, University College Cork. The Microbes & Cancer theme, led by Mark Tangney, involves the study and/or and application of bacteria in cancer settings. The Tangney lab is currently seeking a person to project manage project activity in the group. This project is related to Precision Oncology Ireland 2. The ideal candidate will have appropriate project management skills, and experience of work in industry or an academic research unit.

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
