The Research Assistant will support research study based in UCD to collect clinical data from St Luke's Radiation Oncology Network sites as well as any other sites if required.
IPCOR - the Irish Prostate Cancer Outcomes Research (IPCOR) Project - is a clinically led study that aims to improve the treatment and care of men diagnosed with prostate cancer in Ireland thus maximising their quality of life. Established in 2014 with funding from the Movember Foundation, IPCOR initially captured clinical data and patient-reported information on 6816 men recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 16 hospitals in Ireland. With new funding for a second edition of IPCOR, a new registry database is being launched in 5 sites in 2024 for a minimum period of 3.5 years. IPCOR is a landmark international initiative by Movember Foundation established in Ireland to allow international benchmarking in prostate cancer outcomes.
Salary Range: €34,129 - €44,311 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
