THE ROLE

We are looking for skilled and passionate individuals with expertise in craftsmanship, mechanics, and hands-on problem-solving to join us as a Rental Fleet Agent at our depot. This role is crucial for maintaining our campervans at the highest standards, ensuring our customers can embark on unforgettable journeys.

As a Campervan Mechanic, you will be part of our Dublin team, working with the UKI & Nordics Regional Team. Your primary responsibility is to keep our campervans in optimal condition, contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

Reporting to the local leader, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting systematic inspections and diagnosing issues related to mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems of vehicles.
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including:
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance
    • Light bodywork repairs involving spare parts replacement (lightbulbs, windows, side mirrors)
    • Spare parts substitution and repairs
    • Troubleshooting and repairing appliances
    • Maintaining relationships with external partners
    • Coordinating vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams
    • Updating vehicle information systems as per procedures
    • Moving campervans to and from vendors, parking facilities, or depots
    • Organizing and cleaning depot equipment and spare parts
    • Maintaining spare parts inventory systems
  • Participating in daily depot operations, including:
    • Preparing vehicles and equipment for customers
    • Assisting with reservations, guest check-ins, and check-outs
    • Receiving and organizing shipments and supplies, recording consumption and new orders
    • Maintaining depot equipment, extras, and consumables

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics, or a related automotive field
  • At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical repairs; campervan experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficiency in English and good communication skills
